Highburn Studios

We are Highburn Studios, an independent comic book studio based out of Southwest Virginia. Formed in 1988 by artist Michael Watkins. Highburn Studios is now a haven and workhorse for artists and writers to work together and produce some of the best indie books in the industry as well as freelance out to various companies or other artists to help produce projects.

We have worked with various companies such as, DC Comics, Image Comics, Archie Comics, Digital Webbing, Ape Entertainment, and many more.
Our line up includes artists: Michael Watkins, Lyle Pollard, Kenny Keen, and John Anderson. Our writers for the moment, the one and only Ryan Eldridge, and last but not least, our Sprite model, art rep, and merchandising manager Brynn Oliver.
